Top Gun Tournament- Squirt Minor

The Amherst Knights were victorious in their own tournament defeating the Pittsburgh Hornets 4-2 in the Championship game.
This bodes well going into the Syracuse Stars tournament in 3 weeks which has an excellent field.

Top Gun Tournament

The Pittsburgh Hornets defeated the Rochester Americans 6-5 in the Squirt Minor Semi Finals of the Top Gun Tournament in Amherst, NY.
Pittsburgh takes on the host, Amherst Knights, in the finals today.

Bracco MVP in Sarnia

As predicted here:
Tom Norris Memorial Trophy: This trophy was donated to the Sarnia Silver Stick Committee by the 1950-51 Sarnia Junior Sailors Hockey Club which Tom was the Manager, and who brought the FIRST Junior ‘B’ Championship to the City of Sarnia. Each year we present this award in his memory to the MVP of the Atom Division

This year the winner is: Jeremy Bracco #97, a member of the Long Island Gulls of the Atom AAA Division

Bob LeClair Memorial Trophy: Donated by the Bluewater Referees Association and is awarded to the Atom Team displaying the honourable qualities of good discipline, attitude, ability and conduct, as well as general all around good sportsmanship throughout the Silver Stick Finals Tournament.

This years trophy goes to the Long Island Gulls of the Atom AAA Division

Valley Forge Minutemen beat the New Jersey Devils 2-1 in an excellent game. Valley Forge scores the winner with 11 seconds left in the game.

GULLS WIN!!

As predicted here the Long Island Gulls have won the Squirt Minor Silver Sticks Championship with a 5-3 win over the North York Rangers. The Gulls beat the powerful St Louis Blues 4-2 in the Semi Finals. North York reached the finals by beating Compuware. The Gulls continue to have a great season. We will be back with a wrap up of the tournament and also a wrap up from the AA, and A divisions and results from the Top Gun Tournament in Buffalo.
