In the Atlantic District there have been two dominant teams at the Squirt Minor level. Although Suffolk and Valley Forge have been very strong there can be little doubt that the Mercer Chiefs and the NJ Colonials are far and away the best teams in the league. The Colonials are 16-1 in league play with one surprising loss to the LI Gulls and the Chiefs are 16-2. In the one meeting these two teams had this season the Colonials trounced the Chiefs 9-1. The Chiefs other loss was a 4-2 decision to a very good Valley Forge team but the Chiefs had some key players missing. It should be very interesting. We like the Colonials in a much closer game then last time. Updates tomorrow.
